Description
My daughter and I were visiting my son who attends Rochester Institute of Technology. We were actually there to see his musical at RIT, but we did manage to find time to visit the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester New York. It's a charming zoo with lots of animals. I can't help but feel sorry for the animals in captivity. They are so charming and dear. I particularly loved this White Rhinoceros. They are endangered animals and are harvested for their ivory horns. This one was so sweet and I love the look on his face! I wish he could roam free in the jungles and plains of Africa. The enclosure where he lives was very clean and had a decent amount of shade in which for him to get out of the sun, but I am sure he welcomed the sun as we all did after this long winter. Stay happy little Rhino. Bless you.

Beautiful and honorable photograph of this endangered animal, shame on them for harvesting the ivory, I get so furious about that as I just love all these fantastic creatures that roam our earth, humans get an F for stewardship (although I know there are some good humans too). Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture. FAV FAV
