Description
It's always so much fun to edit photographs from the summer when it is freezing cold outside! Coneflowers, also known as echinacea, always seem to have many butterflies, bees and hummingbirds gathered around them. Coneflowers symbolize strength and healing, which isn't a surprise because they are used to treat the common cold and promote general good health. I have several of these hardy perennial plants in my garden. They are very easy to grow and attract many insect.

Awesome photograph...the stark contrast of colors of the butterfly and the bloom and the clarity of the image are simply super !!!

Hurrah for having your artwork chosen to be a featured piece on our homepage this week. You have many fine pieces in your portfolio of your works, and I am happy you chose this one to submit for possible featuring in our group on the homepage. It now has reached that goal of being featured in our group, a family of friends and fine artists of the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Group. Congratulations on this fine accomplishment
