Seriously, my heart broke when I saw the elephants at the Seneca Park Zoo. They were obviously well cared for and their home was so clean and they had plenty of hay and water. I just felt that they needed more stimulation. These animals are so smart and they just looked so depressed and uninterested in their environment. There were three elephants and they were not interacting with one other. Just look into his eye and you can see his sadness. I would love to imagine him roaming free with his other elephant friends.
