Our adventure to the White Mountains in New Hampshire was complete with the view of this adorable moose! It was the highlight of our trip to see this young, almost adolescent moose just outside the Lafayette Campground. It had snowed the night before and the wind was howling, but we just had to explore a little more around the bike path that is a straight a way from The Flume Visitor's center to Franconia New Hampshire. After crossing the bridge, my husband and I peered over our right shoulders and found this adorable moose looking curiously at us. We were not sure how hold he was, and we were pretty nervous that his mother could be near by. Luckily we did not see any more moose and when we came back around, this young moose had ventured elsewhere, much to our relief! It's hard to think about this adorable face being a possible danger to our well being. I would say that when I took this photograph, he was about 35 feet from our location, and I was able to capture this adorable guy using my telephoto lens! Oh he is just so adorable! Gotta love Moose!

Thanks! Living in Maine you would think that I see Moose all the time. This is only my second one ever in the wild. It was a baby and just so adorable.
