Description
There is an elusive grey heron that lives on the Royal River in Yarmouth Maine. These birds are so enormous and very graceful. I am in awe of them. But as luck would have it, I didn't have my extra long telephoto lens on my camera this day and was forced to capture this majestic creature with my regular telephoto lens. The foliage and the river bank just add so much to the photo with the grey heron flying away from us. I actually had my dog Sophie with me and I am amazed that she didn't jump into the river after the bird. Thank God she didn't! So happy with how this photo turned out. It has a little bit of everything that nature has to offer us!
