Description
After spending the night aboard our sailboat at the Dolphin Marina in South Harpswell Maine, we explored parts of Pott's Harbor and found Ash Point Cove. Living in Maine is a dream come true, but to me there is no better dream than waking up on a sailboat on the coast of Maine. The pine trees seem to come right to the ocean's edge, where seal and seagulls gather, foraging for their breakfast. The mackerel come swimming in and bump up against the side of the hull, alerting you to their presence. But I really love seeing the lobster boats resting from their long journey out into Casco Bay hauling in traps full of yummy lobster. This morning, I was hopeful that the lobstermen were able to sleep in and enjoy a bit of a lazy start to the day. Most likely, they were just getting out late in the hopes that their lobster traps had a bigger haul than the day before. Maine is truly the way life should be. There isn't a day that doesn't go by where I am not eternally grateful.
