Description
Acadia National Park is a glorious place in all seasons. The summer is beautiful because it's just so warm and pleasant...except for all the tourists. The autumn is wonderful with all the foliage. The spring is wonderful too because you can see the earth awakening. But my favorite time is during the winter season. The earth is sometimes covered with snow creating a mysterious landscape. But on this trip, there wasn't any snow and we were able to see the rocks, moss and the raw landscape that wasn't hidden by the leaves or snow. We hiked up Gorham Mountain. It was so magnificent. I love this scene here from the top with the view of Sand Beach down below the the summit. This will definitely not be my last trip to Acadia National Park this winter. There are so many places to visit and photos to take. Happy Winter and Happy New Year.
