There is truly nothing more wonderful to me than spending a glorious summer day exploring my second home otherwise known as Acadia National Park. I don't actually own a home on Mount Desert Island, the location of MDI, but nevertheless, it is my second home. I leave part of my soul here when I go home to Yarmouth. There are many questions surrounding our trip this summer as to whether or not we will be able to go up. This time in our lives is so uncertain and Covid 19 has altered and shattered so many lives. I think that I will just be happy to have my family and friends alive and well and forgo the annual trip to my beloved Acadia to ensure that one purpose.
