Description
Stirling Castle is another place you simply must visit while in Scotland. It is only about a one hour drive west from Edinburgh. I will tell you that while we were there, it was so rainy and not very pleasant. But the rain stopped just in time for me to capture this sweet image of a family in the gardens just outside the castle walls. The flowers were a robust color. I love the group of women visiting the castle. They were circled together as if they were members of the Royal Household taking inventory of their beautiful flowers and perhaps were about to collect some must needed herbs for the apothecary! The little girl just beside them, looks rather bored and is desperate for an escape of some kind. What a lovely day and magnificent afternoon.
