I remember exactly when I took this photograph. I was slightly upset by a friends behavior and desperately needed a walk in Acadia National Park. My husband suggested that we park at Duck Brook Bridge and walk up and around Paradise Hill. What a wonderful suggestion. Usually I bike around that loop, but this time because I was walking, I was able to see and take in more of the beauty of this amazing portion of Acadia. We found this small little tributary coming down from Witch Hole Pond on its way to the ocean just below. There is a little path leading down to the small stream of water. The sun was shining on the gently moving water and was just so peaceful and calming to my emotions. Acadia is definitely the place to overcome hurt feelings and mend your soul.
