Description

I just love this small, newly forming turkey feather fungi. This small colony was growing just up the log from the more mature, fuller turkey feather fungi. I will be interested in seeing how quickly they grow and how long the log will be around with all this fungi growing on its bark. I love seeing the wood grain curving its way around the top of the log. It's also amazing to me to see how life always finds a way to reuse broken or fallen debris.
