Description
There is an island off the cost from Bar Harbor called Bar Island. At low tide, people walk on the sand bar to Bar Island. Better be careful though, the tide comes up fast and you might find yourself on Bar Island until the next low tide.

You can walk there from the boat ramp but the tide comes up fast. Know the tide table!
