Description
It was wonderful to see how many milkweed plants the Friends of Acadia had planted all over Acadia National Park. They were labeled and fenced off from bikers and hikers. It was very clear that they were there to help the Monarch Butterfly lay its eggs and hatch more Monarch Caterpillars. I cannot wait to go back this summer and see how many more milkweed plants there are around the park!!
