Description
Popham Beach State Park in Phippsburg Maine seems to be everyone's favorite beach! It is a glorious beach to walk because it is so long, and a great way to exercise! Plus, there are just so many hidden treasures to find along the way. I found this quahog shell on my walk down the beach. There were many of them scattered along the beach that the tide had delivered to us. The surf was very high that day and the shells were found in abundance! It's a simple photograph to be sure, but it represents all that is great about beach combing and taking in the sights and smells of the open ocean. With the twinkling ocean current in the background and the single solitary shell, this photograph represents peace and solitude.
