Description
The Boston Public Garden was bristling with people, ducks, and geese. I was amazed that these beautiful swans could actually build a nest in the center of all the hubbub! There was a fence protecting them from intruders, but these ducks kept trying to make off with the swan's sticks. She squawked a few times, but they kept trying their luck.

Now this could be Romeo or Juliette...they are a staple in the Garden. They bring them in around mid May every year from the Zoo, and they stay all summer nesting. Lovely capture :)

Thanks for the history. I did not realize that the men also nest! That is fantastic!
