Five Islands Lobster Company in Georgetown, Maine, is the place to go for lobster! People flock every summer by boat and car to enjoy a delicious lobster meal! The lobster is hauled in every day from the local lobstermen. It really doesn't get any fresher than here! The location has a quaint Maine charm that is not comparable to anywhere in the mid-coast Maine area. Sitting on the picnic tables, over looking the Sheepscot River is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. I have several friends who sail or motor boat up to the restaurant on their journey north on the coast of Maine. Now obviously, the restaurant was closed on this very cold January day, but the scenery is second to none and honestly, I really loved being their alone without the summer crowds. I hope that you are able to enjoy a lobster dinner this summer up at Five Island Lobster Company. It's definitely worth checking out!
