My husband and I were sitting around the house one Sunday morning planning our garden and discussing what we wanted to plant. Eagerly I suggested that we pop into the Portland Flower Show. It was the last day and we had enjoyed last years flower show so much, that we figured we would enjoy this one too. So off we went. One of the first displays was this old relic of a truck overflowing with poppies, daisies, geraniums and farm gear, with a crow, pitchfork and lanterns. I was immediately drawn to it. This exhibit was by far my favorite one this year! I voted for them and hope that they did well. I have altered the photograph to resemble an oil painting. It's such an eclectic piece, that it required a unique processing. Looking forward to spring and getting my fingers dirty in soil!!
