The Popham Beach Life Saving Station was commissioned in 1883 and also known as the Hunniwell's Beach Life Saving Station. It was closed in 1971 and currently is the Popham Beach Bed and Breakfast. Staying in this historic building will be added to my bucket list! Popham Beach is located in Phippsburg Maine, up the coast from Bath Maine. It is a lovely beach and one that people walk all year long.
