Description
Mount Katahdin is a weather maker in Baxter State Park. Mount Katahdin is gorgeous, and deadly! With all the clouds overhead, this particular day would not be a good day to peak. The massive mountain creates weather because of its size and temperature range. The pond beneath the mountain is Chimney Pond. It is so beautiful and serene! But up above the pond, is a whole different story. I love the clouds draped over the Knife's Edge. Oooo Eeee, you wouldn't catch me up there on this day! I will stay safely below admiring the view!
