If you have the fantastic luck to visit Edinburgh, Scotland, I highly recommend visiting Holyrood Palace and Holyrood Abbey. This is the official residence of Queen Elizabeth when she is in Edinburgh. Oh my it is so fancy and decorated beautifully!! Located at the bottom of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, at the opposite end to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace has served as the principal residence of the Kings and Queens of Scots since the 16th century, and is a setting for state occasions and official entertaining.
"Perhaps one of the most famous monarchs to live at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Mary, Queen of Scots' chambers where she lived between 1561-1567 are not to be missed.
