Description
Just imagine for a bit that you are in Scotland. You are heading for your hotel on the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond. Well, that is indeed what I was doing. It had been my first full day in Scotland. Traveling from Edinburgh to the Ross Priory was dreamlike, but seeing this road before me was a treat to be sure. The Ross Priory is an early 19th-century country house located west of Gartocharn, West Dunbartonshire, on the south shore of Loch Lomond, Scotland. From the 14th century the estate, known as The Ross, was owned by a branch of the Buchanan family of Buchanan Castle, who built a house here in 1695. This road was so perfect with the ancient trees lining the road to a regal estate. I really felt like I was coming home to Scotland while driving down this road. Cannot wait to visit Scotland again. It's a magical place, full of history and charm.
