Forgetting that I had just been taking photos inside, my camera was set to allow lots of light into the lens! So what I have here is a mistake, but one that I still really love. I love that my son is in this photograph. I love that we can see the Old Orchard Beach Boardwalk's detail. And I love that there is still lots of snow on the beach. I love that my son is looking down at the sand, waiting for me and wondering how many photographs he will have to endure while walking on Old Orchard Beach. He is so patient with me. Everything happens for a reason, and this stark and overexposed photograph is not a mistake, but a gift!
