Description
As a child I would love to sit underneath the Christmas Tree and wait for Father Christmas. We had a lovely tradition of putting our letters to Santa in our chimney. And miraculously, the elves would climb down the chimney and deliver our letters to Santa in the North Pole! But while we waited for the magical Christmas Day to arrive, we would sit under the tree and sing Christmas Carols and hope that the Elves really did sneak down the chimney in order to deliver our most treasured letters to Santa. As I sit here waiting for Christmas Day to arrive, I have many more profound wishes and desires than I could ever imagine. I wish for peace and pray every night to my Lord and Savior to deliver us from this horrible pandemic. I pray for every child's dreams to come true. I pray for every parent's dreams to come true too. I pray that all of our troubles and worries to disappear and we can wake to a healthier world. I pray for the magic of the Christmas light to guide us to be better people and friends to our neighbors and community members. And as Saint Nicholas says in Twas the Night Before Christmas written by CLEMENT CLARKE MOORE ," “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
