Artist's Description
I love it when the tide is low at Madeline Point! The sea stars are visible to those of us just getting off our boats. This one was having a tasty barnacle dinner! These creatures are amazing because when they are under attack, they can dislodge their arm and grow a new one! How cool is that. So when you are fortunate to see one, please be very gentle with them and help them keep all of their limbs! Also, spread the word that they are Sea Stars....not Star Fish! Thanks!
