Just a short walk from my home is a delightful pond. In the summer, the children go frogging and in the winter, the children skate here. I particularly love this photograph as it shows the decaying cat o'nine tails and the majestic trees reflecting on the calm pond. It's waiting to freeze over now, but this winter seems to be late in arriving. It will happen soon, no doubt!

My favorite part of taking photos is sharing them with people so they might visit places from afar even if they can't physically be there.
