It seems that wherever you go in Washington D.C., you can see the Washington Monument! It's wonderful viewing this National Landmark from so many different vantage points. This photograph was taken by the Tidal Basin over beside the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. There was a storm approaching, which makes the sky look really dramatic and exhilarating! I love the framing of the Washington Monument by the Cherry Tree Leaves. While I am sad that I was unable to see the Cherry Trees in their full bloom, it was still an awe inspiring experience to visit our Nations Capital once again. I seriously love Washington D.C. It is imperative that each and every American Citizen visit this iconic city at least once in their lifetime.
