Ah...the Royal Mile in Edinburgh Scotland is a magnificent sight. I had just arrived in Scotland and my goal was to walk the entire length of the Royal Mile to keep myself awake and to adjust my body to Scotland's time! I intersected the Royal Mile near the via the North Bridge where Waverly Station is located. So I walked up to Edinburgh Castle first and afterwards, walked down to Holyrood Palace. Needless to say, by the end of the day, I was completely zonked! I unfortunately had only one day in Edinburgh which made me determined to see all of the Royal Mile and take in a few pubs along the way. It did not disappoint in the slightest! But never fear, I will be back again one day soon and this time I plan to spend at least three if not four days exploring all of Edinburgh!
