Artist's Description
Sometimes I sit on photographs for years, still wondering what to do with them, or how to process them. I am really happy that I waited to process this amazing photograph of the Saco River in Fryburg Maine. We were visiting the Hemlock Covered Bridge, which unto itself is the reason to visit this spot, but the clouds were so heavy with rain and the layers of clouds gave the sky and the river beneath an eerie feeling. The leaves on the trees hadn't started growing yet, so their reflections in the Saco River were spooky and frightening. I simply loved it!! I must get back to this wonderful spot this summer to see the bridge and the river when it looks a bit more friendly!!
