While on vacation in Acadia National Park, there was a tall ship parade on Somes Sound. We parked the car on Sargent Drive and watched these magnificent ships sail up the Sound. It was a rare treat to see them so close and all at once. I have processed this photograph in sepia to give it more of a nostalgic feeling. This ship was so grand and majestic. I am sure they had the parade to celebrate Acadia's Centennial Celebration.

My favorite part of taking photos is sharing them with people so they might visit places from afar even if they can't physically be there. The world is an amazing place and I feel that it is our responsibility to enjoy, preserve and share our love for the places we visit. As a child, I would use my parents camera to take photos that reflected my passions, which are flowers, horses, ocean, and snow storms.
