Description
My sweet horse Sassy is really such a soulful creature. She is so sweet and kind. I really feel that if you are going to be the caretaker of any animal, you need to spend time with them and bond with them. Horses require a lot of attention and care. Sassy doesn't live at home with me, yet anyway! So I try my hardest to spend time with her at her farm so she knows that I am her person. She can trust me and know that I will always be fair and support her as best as I can. In this photo, she is looking at her sister Sophie, who is my golden retriever. They know each other. Sassy will let Sophie link her nose, which I think is just about the sweetest, most trusting act. Sassy is so magnificent and I am in awe of her! She belongs to me, but in actuality, I belong to her!
