In the dead of winter, my husband and I went to the Portland Flower Show in Portland Maine.It was a glorious visit away from winter and snow. While there, I took many photographs of the displays and of the beautiful flowers arranged in the most enjoyable of ways. I especially love this peony. It is very delicate with soft light and edges. Peonies smell delightful and they are one of my most favorite flowers. They do not last all that long in my garden and if it rains, they tend to droop over with the weight of the water on their very top heavy bloom. But while they last, they are magnificent!
