I made this for my local friends here in Yarmouth. Madeleine Point is where the locals go to swim, have picnics and relax with friends. It is also a town owned marina where locals keep their boats in the summer months. This is where we keep our day sailor. I love this sign. It represents starting our day of sailing and it welcomes us home. I took this photograph while standing on the dock waiting for my husband and son to return with the boat. It was a glorious 4th of July and we were starting our day on the boat and then in the evening, we made our way to the Fire Works at L.L. Bean. I have changed this photograph to resemble an oil painting. It has a slight texture and would look great hanging in any home that is familiar with Madeleine Point.
