The name Kearney is not a common one in Yarmouth Maine, so when I was shooting down on Little John Island in Yarmouth, I was excited to see the name Kearney inside one of the dignhys attached to the dock. My ancestors came from Limerick Ireland and their last name was Kearney. They changed it to McKearney after settling in Yarmouth. I had to capture this photograph. I love the white reflection in the water. It certainly is a very special photograph to me.
