Artist's Description
While driving back from Bryant Pond Maine, I decided to take a detour home and drive up Paris Hill. It is a charming community high on the hill overlooking amazing mountain ranges. While descending the hill, I discovered this adorable, charming cemetery. It is truly on the side of a hill, which I assume is why it is called Hillside Cemetery. While you can't see them in this photograph, the cemetery has many many hydrangea bushes planted all over its grounds. I will have to make a trip back to this lovely spot next summer when the hydrangeas are in bloom.
About Elizabeth Dow

Acadia National Park is New...
