Jordan Pond is so magnificent in winter! It was a lovely day and there was a storm coming in from the south, but I had to see it once with all the snow and ice. All the features of the lake that I see in the summer are hidden beneath the ice and snow. There were two ice fishing poles set up on the right side of the lake, but that was it. It was a barren and cold landscape, but seeing it this way, warmed my heart! I love Acadia National Park in all seasons, but I think winter might be my favorite!
