The smallest observation can be overlooked while traveling or walking through your normal parameters. As a child, my mother would often list to the song, Tip Toe Through the Tulips. I interpreted that song as to slow down and enjoy the view. And as a mother and observer of nature, that's just what I strive for in my everyday life. The contrast of the gone by Bridal Wreath and the blue winter snow caught my eye. This Bridal Wreath is very important to me. It was planted many years ago by my great, great grandmother and has endured the test of time! Capturing it now in the winter chill is precious to me!
