In October 2018 I traveled to Scotland. It was a dream come true. I love Scotland! I love the landscape, the people and their history. I wanted to stay in places that were unique and away from the crowds. This magnificent hayfield was in front of the Ross Priory on Loch Lomond. Do yourself a favor and look up the Ross Priory, it's beautiful! It was a bit rainy and overcast that day, but I needed to walk down the Loch Lomond because the wonderful hostess had told us about the island in the loch that looked like the silhouette that looked like a man. Do you see it there, just on the left side. It's head, belly and feet start at the left and move toward the right. This is the island of Torrinch, just next to Inchcailloch Island. I love the point of view of this photograph. So much to see and appreciate! Scotland is just one of the best places to visit and from what my Scottish friends tell me, it's a great place to live too.
