At the far end of Winslow Park Campground in Freeport Maine, there is the Winslow Memorial Park. It is located between South Freeport and the Harraseeket River. On the peninsula, there is this wonderful beach and charming boat dock. I love the scaffolds that support this elegant dock. I must remember to come check this beach out in the summer! My son and I were in the mood for a hike, and a good friend suggested Winslow Park. It was an ideal location because we could let Genevieve wonder around without a leash! She even took a walk through the frigid winter water! Winslow Park has quite a history.
