Description
There are several words that I could use to describe The Quiraing. At first it is captivating. Then monumental would be the next word. Peaceful comes to mind too when you first see it. Adorable because all the lavender heather is still blooming. Precious because the sheep are grazing all over the open fields and pastures. It is a dangerous land in foul weather conditions. On this, our first full day on Skye, It was simply magnificent to me. I have dreamt of hiking this trail for many many years. And here I was...looking at it with my own two eyes thankfully with my camera attached to my eye lid! There were other photographers hiking the Quiraing on Skye as well! It is a photographers heaven. All of Skye is actually. Coming to Scotland has been a long time in the making and there wasn't any way that I could skip this captivating sight while on Skye!! But the magnitude of the Quiraing is incomprehensible. That is why I placed this photographer in the right side of the photo. He alone can show you how far the Quiraing goes into the distance. All the white specks you see on the green grass are sheep freely grazing wherever they wish. There are also tiny people hiking the Quiraing. This is a place that you must visit and hike when on Skye. It is magnificent.
