While vacationing on Mount Desert Island, we drove around the island exploring the little nooks and crannies of the quiet side of the island. After all, what else is there to do on a rainy day? As luck would have it, while visiting Bernard Maine, I was able to capture this photograph of the Swans Island Ferry landing in Bass Harbor Maine! It is a very large ferry and can carry cars, trucks and people over to Swans Island which is about one hour off the coast of Mount Desert Island.
