Living in Yarmouth Maine is a wonderful experience. While walking with my husband and our dog Genevieve, we were treated to this group of very old and naturalized phlox which had miraculously survived an excavation project and a new fence. Their natural determination to not only survive, but thrive should be a lesson for us all. I hope that you are as determined to not only survive, but to thrive as these phlox have done.This photograph has been altered in Photoshop to resemble an oil painting.
