Oh my beautiful Day Lilies have opened up and revealed their beautiful colors. These lilies have been growing beside my home for years!! I look forward to them and their sweet aroma. These lilies start sprouting in April, but do not bloom until June or sometimes July! Up here in Maine, things take a lot longer to grow and our growing season is so short. I think that's why I love taking photographs of flowers because it preserves their beauty indefinitely.
