Artist's Description
The Sparhawk Mill in Yarmouth Maine is a well known landmark in our small town. Built over the Royal River, it used to be a cotton mill, as well as a rope factory. It is now home to many businesses that have grown and become very successful. It was once rumored to have been haunted...but there hasn't been any verification of that fact.
There are not very many places in Yarmouth that are free of telephone poles and cable wires. That's why this photograph is perfect to alter into an antique tin type photography. There are many black and white tin type photographs of the Sparhawk Mill, but none that were taken in 2016.
