Silver Wings Baby Onesie

I love my gardens! I especially love it when honey bees come to visit my garden. I love it even more when I can capture a close up of a very busy honey bee. I cannot believe my good fortune to capture his silver wings. At first glance, one thinks that it is water, but they are his wings. He has two very bright pollen baskets filled to the rim with pollen. He was having a delightful time hoping from bud to bud on my lupine flower! I tried really hard not to get in his way and he was very kind and put up with my camera making clicking sound after clicking sound. With honey bees in so much danger, seeing this little guy did my heart some good! Safe travels Silver Wings.
