Description
While hiking down Cadillac Mountain in July, we noticed that there were many pine trees and pine cones that were still growing and ripening. These pine cones feed many squirrels, chipmunks and other rodents through the winter months. I love the clarity of this photograph and hope that this pine cone will feed many creatures in the wintertime!
