While visiting Salem Massachusetts one fine December weekend, we stumbled upon this charming house. I love how the owner of this historical home has kept the brown clapboards, but enhanced the color of their front door. The brown and turquoise colors are complimentary to each other and make the elegant front door stand out among others. The simple wreath and copper pot holly and greenery arrangement add to the nostalgic feelings of the season. I wish I could have stepped inside this historic home to see how they decorated their interior for the Christmas Holiday. I am sure it will be very simple and sweet.
