This was my first morning in Portree! After driving for nine hours the day before in pouring rain, I was greeted by this magnificent sunrise with the sun rays cascading over the Loch Portree and highlighting the mountains on Rassay! It was magnificent. Portree is located on the eastern side of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. If you are planning a trip to Scotland, I recommend that you spend at least a week on Skye. Unfortunately because of time constraints, I could only spend two days. But they were the most glorious two days of my vacation. The weather was amazing!! No rain! We stayed at the Marine House with Fiona. This is where I took this amazing photograph of Loch Portree. I will go back to Skye and I will stay with Fiona again overlooking this magnificent landscape again! But until then, I will simply enjoy this photograph. I am so happy to share this photo with you. If you have been so lucky to travel to Skye and stay in Portree, I hope that this brings you fond memories of your trip. Slainte!
