My husband and I traveled to Lincoln New Hampshire to explore Franconia Notch State park and the Flume Gorge, we stayed at The Indian Head Resort. It is a lovely place to stay, but the highlight for me was the Indian Head Trail on Mount Pemigewasset which overlooks the resort. It was much too cold and snowy for a hike up this mountain, but we will be visiting here again in the summer. The hike leaves from The Flume visitor's center and is only 3.6 miles round trip for some exceptional views into the Franconia Notch region. Cannot wait to go back and capture some images from the top of the Indian Head. The profile of the rock formation looks exactly like an Indian. It is amazing!
