Artist's Description
Driving along the Park Loop Road and coming upon the Otter Cliffs is a sight to behold. I especially love seeing them in winter with all the snow and icicles cascading down the side of the rocky cliffs. It was a beautiful winter day in Acadia National Park and I had the park virtually all to myself. I think I might have seen one car and one person the entire time I was inside the park. I have seen this part of Acadia over crowded with people in July and August and it is equally as beautiful. But there was something very special about being there without anyone. Acadia is my favorite place on Earth and my soul is complete when I am there. And when I leave to come by to my home, part of my soul stays at Acadia.
