This is Maine!! It really doesn't get any better than this for a photographer! While visiting Mount Desert Island on our yearly camping trip, we drove off the island to Winter Harbor. Winter Harbor is the quintessential traditional fishing village just before you start driving on the Schoodic Peninsula Park Loop Road. Schoodic Point is owned and managed by Acadia National Park. This adorable marina is tucked away from the main road, but you can find it if you have that sense of adventure inside you somewhere. Take time to explore this adorable village and find the working marina. You will be so happy that you took my advice!
